Coming Up in June

Friday, June 7  NexGen Hearing Presentation and Free Screening.   The Pemberton Seniors Centre is teaming up with NexGen Hearing to provide a presentation and complimentary hearing screening with their Audiologists.  The presentation will explain hearing loss, the impacts of untreated hearing loss and the benefits of early intervention.  This will be the perfect opportunity to ask questions and discuss your options.  Please join us for this free program.

Monday, June 10 - 50+ Lunch Club at Nicklaus North in Whistler.  11:30 - Car Pooling a possibility. Pre Registration essential - online or at the Community Centre.

Tuesday, June 11 - 2:00 - 4:00 Women's Institute Annual Strawberry Tea at the Museum.

Friday, June 14 and 21 - Choir Practice.  The REC is open to all 50+ on Fridays from 12-3 p.m. Bring your lunch and enjoy a social setting with new and old friends.  Choir practice starts at 1:00 p.m.  All abilities and spectators welcome.

Tuesday, June 18 - Outdoor Games Day at the Community Centre - Free.  Please join us on the lawn for a day of outdoor games followed by a free Backcountry Pizza luncheon in the REC.  Games will include Bocce, Ladder toss, Corn Toss and Croquet.

Saturday, June 22 from 6:00 -10:00 p.m.  Museum Fund Raiser with supper and an evening of music by our local Blue Grass Band "Courage's Mountain Men".  Tickets will be available at the museum.

Friday, June 28 - Free   Fire Safety Presentation.  The Pemberton Seniors Centre is teaming up with the Pemberton Fire Chief to provide a Fire Safety Presentation.  This session will focus on fire safety in the home and emergency procedures.  Light snacks and refreshments provided.
