From the Community Centre:

We are happy to announce that our soft opening went well, thank you for all your feedback and positive attitudes. We are ever so thankful for your support and understanding. On to the next phase of our re-opening! As many of you already know we have implemented health and safety protocols to ensure everyone's safe return to their favourite activities.

  
 Fitness Centre  

All fitness memberships were re-instated as of June 25, pass extensions were given according to pass types. If you have any questions regarding pass extensions please email pemrecinfo@pemberton.ca.

The NEW fitness centre hours are as follows:

Tuesday to Friday
6 - 7 AM
7:15 - 8:15 AM
8:45 - 9:45 AM
4:30 - 5:30 PM
5:45 - 6:45 PM
7 - 8 PM
8:15 - 9:15 PM *not available Friday*

Saturday
9:15 - 10:15 AM
10:30 - 11:30 AM 
11:45 - 12:45 AM

YOUTH (13 TO 18) 
Wednesday & Friday
3:15 - 4:15 PM

VULNERABLE POPULATION
Tuesday & Thursday

There will be  2 bookable fitness spaces:

Main Fitness Centre: The newly re-organized Fitness Centre Strength space has a selection of Squat Racks, Plate-loaded Equipment, Cable Towers, Dumbbells, Weight Machines, Benches, Medicine Balls, Kettlebells, 2x Treadmills and 2x Keiser spin bikes

Great Hall A: Full set of Dumbbells, 2x Elliptical,  2 Keiser Spin bikes, 1x Recumbent Bike, Concept 2 Rower, Chest Press Machine, Seated Low Row Machine, Seated Lat Pulldown Machine, Medicine Balls

Each location has a reduced occupancy to accommodate the required physical distance of 2 meters.  The Fitness Centre is limited to 12 participants, while the Great Hall is limited to 10.
We are not accepting drop-ins at this time. New members are welcome.

 Cancellation Expectations  


Cancellation is NOT currently available online, please call 604-894-2340 or email  pemrecinfo@pemberton.ca. 
It is of the utmost importance that patrons cancel their reservations if they cannot attend as spaces are limited!
Unattended bookings are being tracked. We are hopeful that we will not have to create a penalty for missed booking.

 What are we doing to keep you safe?

 
  • Stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19
  • Patrons must sanitize their hands when entering the facility. Sanitization stations are available throughout the facility.
  • Patrons must wait in the designated areas outside the building before their allocated timeslot/program.
  • Patrons are required to change their footwear and store their personal belongings in the designated area by the reception desk.
  • 2 meter physical distancing is required.
  • Directional arrows, designated entrances/exits have been established to control the flow of traffic in the facility.
  • Demographic centered-schedule through staggered programming.
  • Increased cleaning protocols and expectations
  • Increased outdoor air intake as recommended by Work BC.

Failure to maintain physical distancing could result in the closure of the facility.

As always we welcome all constructive feedback.
We will continue to modify our operations and protocols to meet the changing guidelines of the Provincial Health Authorities.
