December Update

United Way British Columbia and Better Environmentally Sound Transportation (BEST) are pleased to announce the release of the Seniors' Transportation Survey. The purpose of this survey is to collect information and opinions on how well the existing transportation system is working for adults 55 years of age and better in British Columbia. The feedback will help shape the future of seniors' transportation in the province. 

 

We are requesting you complete this survey using this online survey link:  Seniors' Transportation Survey Online     Please share  the survey email and link with your colleagues and networks, including your local Seniors' Planning Tables, Age Friendly Committees, volunteer driver programs and community serving organizations.

 

Please note that  the deadline for the online survey is December 16, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.  (Note that we delayed the survey because of the extreme weather and may extend the deadline.)

Below are a few ideas for ways your program or seniors' planning table may want to distribute the surveys and/or, through volunteers, support the seniors in the completion of the surveys.  Please let Molly or Janette, cc'd above know if you are looking for any social media or newsletter optimized versions of this info for your Facebook pages or seniors' newsletters.
