April 9 Update includes new information on Vaccination Plus

1. Now eligible to register for vaccination based on age:  People age 65+ born 1956 or earlier); Indigineous peoples age 18+ (born 2003 or earlier) and People who are clinically extremely vulnerable and have received a patient invitation letter.  If you belong to one of these groups, you can now register online at gov.bc.ca/getvaccinated or call 1-833-838-2323

2. If you are 55-65 born in 1956-1966) and interested in receiving the AstraZeneca/SSSCOVISHIELD vaccine in the Lower Mainland, please book and appointment directly with a participating pharmacy or join their waitlist.  The participating pharmacies are listed on the BC Pharmacy Association website.  Appointments for AstraZeneca cannot be booked through the VCH COVID-19 vaccine appointment bookline.

It's a 2 step process:  Please only register when it's your turn - Once you are registered, you will be contacted to book a vaccine appointment when you are eligible to book based on your age and B.C.'s Immunization Plan phases.
