Friday, January 10th Carpet Bowling
Join us for a game of skill, strategy and control on Friday January 10th from 12-2pm in the Pemberton and District Community Centre. Carpet Bowling is a variant of lawn bowls played indoors on a long felt carpet. Two teams of four compete to get their balls as close to the jack as possible. Anyone 50 years and over are welcome to participate free of charge. Pre-registration required by Wednesday January 8th.
Friday, January 17th 50+ Singers
Join the 50+ Singers in preparation for the upcoming holidays. Practice will commence at 1pm on the first and third Friday of the month at The REC. All abilities and spectators welcome. No registration required.
Tuesday, January 21st Taco Tuesday
If you are 50+ come and enjoy Taco Tuesday at 12pm on January 21st at The REC. A variety of ingredients will be supplied for you to assemble your own tacos. Stay afterwards to socialise, play board games, pool, darts and table tennis. Vegan and gluten free option will be provided. No registration required.
Tuesday, January 28th Card Games
Learn the card games Skyjo and Five Crowns in a relaxed atmosphere at 12pm on Tuesday January 28th at The REC. This is a great opportunity for 50+ members of the community to socialise and warm up with a hot cup of tea or coffee. Beverages and cookies provided free of charge. No registration required.
Wednesday, January 29 - Pot Luck at the Legion 11:30 a.m. - $2.00 plus bring along a dish to share.
