April 20 Update
1. Non Medidcal Masks
Frances (of boomerang shopping bag project) has been making masks
recently and has generously offered to help the seniors by offering
her masks to us at her retail price of $10 or by
donation.
Marnie has offered to be the "point person" and will distribute
them from her garage in Creekside Village. She offered to deliver
them to those unable to do the pick up. Check with her re payment
options. Marnie's contact information is found in the roster see
Members section which is password protected.
We will start the process with the first batch of masks being in a
variety of colours. They should be at her house for pick up by next
Friday. Going forward, you may order a specific fabric directly
from Frances on her website www.aniseanddill.com and
then pick up the mask at Marnie's house.
Please email her for any orders and for a pickup/delivery time that
would work for you.
Those seniors who are "sewers" might like to make their own masks
or extras for distribution to other seniors. Frances has included
instructions and a pattern for you and suggests that a tight woven
cotton is the preferred fabric to use.
